Each year, a cohort of accomplished students from across the state is selected to work full time in the offices of Alaskan lawmakers for an entire legislative session. Interns work directly with legislators on key projects, earn academic credits, and build invaluable networks. This life changing experience leads many alumni to a career in public service.
As they are not paid by the legislature, interns are awarded stipends which are funded in part by people like you. By making a gift, you help to cover students' living expenses, allowing them to focus on doing their best work for Alaskan communities.
