Seawolf Summer Support: Step Up for UAA Students
No student should have to choose between eating and succeeding.
When the academic year ends, many students lose access to reliable food resources. The Seawolf Food Pantry, UAA Emergency Food Cache & UAA Food Bank provide critical support throughout the school year, but during the summer, fewer donations and limited campus services mean students are often left without the help they need.
This June, we’re stepping up—and we’re asking you to join us.
The FY25 Summer Challenge is all about filling that summer gap. We’re raising funds to provide meals and food support to UAA students facing food insecurity when campus is quiet, but the need is still loud. Our goal is to welcome 30 donors to make a difference, one meal at a time.
Whether it’s $10 or $1,000, every gift helps. Your support goes directly to UAA Student Emergency Food Needs, which funds:
- The UAA Food Insecurity Fund, supporting the Seawolf Food Pantry and UAA Emergency Food Cache
- The Seawolf Food Pantry, offering pantry staples, hygiene items, and food during the summer
- The UAA Emergency Food Cache, offering a food bag that could include already prepared or easy-to-prepare packed meals
You don’t have to be a big donor to make a big difference.
Every dollar helps a student stay nourished, focused, and moving forward—especially during a time of year when help can feel far away.
